When I perform a Facial Sculpting Massage, it is a very profound experience. The sense of serenity and peace that clients experience is unique. You see, the face is a part of our body that is almost entirely meant to EXPRESS our emotions and identity to others. The stresses of our lives build up, we hold onto ancient patterns of pain, of worry, of limitation, grief, judgement, anger, worthlessness and unexpressed desires. All that we hold in our minds is shown in the face, and manually releasing those physical patterns with touch and massage techniques is an experience that most people are unfamiliar with, but when they do experience it, they find that they love it!
With my Facial Sculpting & Buccal Massage, I open up the neck, the lymphatic passageways, I gently stretch the fascia and loosen up the scalp. I open up the ocular orbital muscle which we tend to hold so tensed. I bring blood and life back to the skin tissues. I massage any fibrosis in your cheeks and mouth. I release the tension in your eyebrows, in your maxilla, in your temporal muscle and in the skull. I loosen your lips, which tend to become turned inward with tensions, disappointments, and sorrows held within.
The Buccal Massage portion is a beautiful, holistic way to sculpt the jawline and face. It releases the very important Masseter Muscle – the meaty muscle of your jaw. This muscle works all the time! Every time time you chew, speak, and most importantly, every time you clench back anger, injustice, unspoken thoughts and desires, this muscle becomes tense. When this muscle is tensed, it literally squishes the face downwards and forwards. This contributes to the formation of jowls, to the sagging appearance of the lower face, to lymph stagnation, and much more. This is not even to mention that it feels so good to release it!
Then I use Cupping to create increased blood flow to the skin and to create microtraumas which prompt your body to activate more healing energy to the area. It is more gentle than microneedling, and it feels AMAZING. Clients often report that the cupping is one of their favorite parts of the session. It will leave you with a beautiful glow, and there is no need for downtime like there often is with microneedling. After the Cupping portion, I use my Guasha tool to break up and further adhesions around the lips and the forehead with the comb teeth, then use the flat edges to draw out the remaining lymphatic fluid in the face and neck.
My Facial Sculpting and Buccal Massages are an experience that most people have never experienced before, and once they do, they find that the love it!
And then occasionally, I will meet a client who wants to take the experience deeper with my psychosomatic coaching. This is where I dive deep into the world of mind-body connection, deep core beliefs, and will partner with the client to work out how those beliefs are showing up in the physical body.
Let me tend to you in a way which you’ve probably never experience before, and unlock a new level of relaxation, beauty, peace, and health.
